Healthcare Worker study

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE(s)

To quantify and describe the risk of SARS CoV-2 infections among frontline healthcare workers, ancillary support staff, and their household contacts amidst the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.

TREATMENT/CLINICAL & LAB INVESTIGATION

Bi-weekly venous blood, nasal swabs, and nasal epithelial lining fluid collection. Bi-weekly and daily surveys to document self-reported symptoms.

POPULATION
Healthcare workers and ancillary staff involved in emergency and inpatient care at Univeristy of North Carolina Medical Center (UNCMC) and household contacts of a subset of those workers
